The event saw Fuji Xerox Singapore's executives sharing its key people management strategies (as stated above) and knowledge around employee growth and retention strategy with more than 50 local SMEs.
"The growth and survival of any company depends on having a high-performing workforce that is engaged, innovative and productive," said Nicholas Goh, Council Member of WAF and Chief Executive Officer of Verztec Consulting Pte Ltd.
"Engaged employees are also happier and stay with companies longer, thus reducing the costs of re-training. It brings about building trust at the workplace, employer to employee, and across the company. Managers and senior leadership should establish good communication channels to articulate a clear vision to all employees so they know what they are working towards. Lastly, consider giving back to society as a team, volunteerism and corporate giving, such as matching gift programmes for a common cause as these can help increase employee engagement," he added.
Fuji Xerox Singapore has been committed to helping local SMEs grow since 1965. The company works closely with local government bodies to support various industry initiatives such as the Accreditation@IDA scheme, which aims to help startups and accredited companies to win projects from government and industry buyers. Essentially, SMEs under the scheme would be considered first for various innovation-focused government projects and industry collaborations.
Besides that, Fuji Xerox offers SMEmpower, a suite of business solutions designed to help SMEs overcome, handle and manage their business challenges.
