According to Singson Que, the technology ecosystem was the biggest challenge he faced when it comes to the implementation of the M-Learning project. He explained some suppliers hesitated to bring in new technologies that they will not profit from. In addition, Benilde had to outsource help from abroad to bring in technologies for special needs, which drives up the cost of tech investment.
On sourcing technologies for the CIE, Singson Que said they had to make sure that suppliers share the same advocacy for inclusion. "We ensured that when we engage with partners, suppliers, [and] vendors they take it upon them the advocacy," he explained.
When asked about his advice for other learning institutions, Singson Que recommended them to invest in a technology platform that would improve the learning process and adopt an advocacy, such as inclusion, to increase the value of their technology investments tenfold.
