Teradata names industry veteran to key Singapore post

Teo to focus on sales, marketing, and channel management.

NYSE-listed Teradata Corporation has picked an industry veteran to lead its Singapore operations.

The data warehousing company named Richard Teo Singapore country manager tasked to oversee and manage Teradata's sales, marketing, and channel management strategies.

Teo has 25 years' industry experience in ICT, and supply chain & logistics. He has worked with Panasonic, DHL, France Telecom, Unisys, United Overseas Bank, and Accenture.

Teo said his focus is to strengthen sales management to be able to provide world-class total data warehousing solutions that will encompass the full portfolio of the Teradata's products and services. This, in turn, will boost the sale of products and services in growing the strategic key accounts.

Teo graduated with first class honours in engineering from the National University of Singapore, and obtained an MBA in banking and finance from the University of Warwick of U.K.
