SAP has named Darren Rushworth as its new managing director for Singapore.
In his role, Rushworth will lead sales and business strategy development, as well as oversee SAP operations in Singapore. He will report to Francois Lancon, president and managing director for SAP Southeast Asia.
Rushworth has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry, and has held various roles in sales, marketing, strategic alliances and management in Asia.
Prior to this new role, he was most recently the managing director for SAP Philippines. Under his leadership, SAP opened its third office in the Philippines last November and achieved double-digit growth in SAP Philippines' applications market share.
"With Rushworth's strong track record in the Philippines where he grew SAP's business, I am confident that he will continue to build on SAP's success in Singapore and take the company to even greater heights in his new role," said Lancon.
