RSA - the security division of EMC - announced today leadership changes for its Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) operations.
Former Managing Director of RSA South East Asia (SEA), Simon Cheong, assumed today the role of APJ Channel Director, replacing Edward Lim - who is taking over as Managing Director of SEA.
Both Cheong and Lim are IT veterans with a combined experience of close to 30 years. In a media statement, RSA said that Lim has been instrumental in shaping the company's channel strategy, having joined the company three years ago.
On the other hand, Cheong - who has been with RSA since 2008 - has been a key contributed to RSA's regional achievements through the several key leadership sales roles he held over the years, it added.
"Simon and Edward are both experienced leaders and their respective new appointments look to capitalise on their key strengths to continue RSA's momentum in Asia Pacific and Japan. I am confident that their leaderships will better align RSA's business with the region's opportunities and growth," said Vincent Goh, Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan at RSA.
