Roundtable: Getting the most out of user application adoption

John Tan | May 28, 2012
Monitoring and analysing end-user interactions with the system can yield valuable insight into how best to improve user experience and increase business performance.

“The most important measure of efficiency is definitely at the end-user — in terms of availability and response time,” Tobin Alexander spoke of his perspective towards the need to monitor end-users’ usage of their SAP applications. “Education is very important, but it’s more than that. It’s about putting the end-user at the very front of our considerations,” concluded Alexander who is the managing director, Asia Pacific, Japan at Knoa Software.

The lively two-hour discussion saw delegates comparing notes on how they managed the challenges of keeping users well-trained in their SAP applications despite a high turnover of personnel. Attendees were also convinced on the importance of monitoring and measuring user experience and usage of their SAP systems.
