Progress Software appoints new MD for APJ

Veteran software executive Stephen McNulty will lead growth of the company in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ)

Progress Software Corporation has appointed veteran software executive Stephen McNulty as Managing Director for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), the software company announced on 8 April.

Based in Singapore, McNulty reports to Andy Zupsic, Senior Vice President of Global Field Operations, Progress Software.

McNulty has over 20 years of sales, channel and service experience in the region.

He will lead Progress Software's business and operations in APJ, with a primary focus on growing the company's network of channel partners and customers, the company said in a statement.

McNulty joins Progress from JDA Software, where he most recently served as President of Asia Pacific. He also has prior long-term experience with Oracle and Baan in Asia Pacific.
