David Dzienciol will lead sales for Parallels Desktop Virtualization and Service Provider business divisions in Asia Pacific.

Parallels appointed David Dzienciol as regional vice president and general manager, sales in Asia Pacific (AP), the cloud services enablement and desktop virtualisation software provider announced today.

The company said that Dzienciol joins Parallels after successfully working in a similar role at Symantec, where he was vice president of Channel and Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).

He succeeds Parallels AP vice president and general manager Jan-Jaap Jager, the company said in a statement.

Jager has been promoted to a new role as vice president of strategic account sales for The Americas, and will now be based in Toronto, Canada, said the company in its statement.
