Toshiya Matsuki, new CEO of NEC Asia Pacific

NEC Asia Pacific has appointed Toshiya Matsuki as the new Chief Executive Officer, the IT and network solutions provider and systems integrator announced today.

NEC Asia Pacific is a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation, with headquarters in Japan.

Matsuki replaces Kiyofumi Kusaka, who was in this position since June 2008. Kusaka will be moving to China to assume position as the President of NEC China, the company said in a statement.

Toshiya Matsuki joined NEC Corporation of Japan in 1983 and has held both executive and sales management positions during his career.

He has worked at the Jakarta Representative Office as Chief Representative for two years and NEC Europe as Deputy General Manager for four years.

Matsuki later returned to NEC Corporation to assume position as the Deputy General Manager of Americas and EMEA Sales Division in 2010 and became the Vice President of the International Sales and Operations Business Unit in 2011.

Prior to his latest appointment, he is also the Associate Senior Vice President of NEC Corporation since the beginning of April 2013.
