Motorola Solutions appoints new country president for Singapore

Andy Chan named as the new country president for Singapore

Motorola Solutions, the enterprise communication solutions and services provider, has appointed Andy Chan as the new country president for Singapore.

Announcing this, a company spokesperson said that Andy will further build the company's brand in Singapore and foster closer working ties with public agencies as well as industry and professional associations.

He will continue to lead the company's efforts towards employee volunteerism for community development. 

Andy also maintains his current role as the general manager for Motorola Solutions' Radio Channel business in Asia Pacific, said the spokesperson. 

Andy joined Motorola Solutions in 2009 as its ASEAN enterprise lead and was subsequently promoted to lead the Enterprise Channel business for Asia Pacific in 2010.

Before Motorola, he has held management positions in enterprise and consumer sales, marketing and services across Asia Pacific with Compaq/HP, Seagate and Commscope.

Andy holds a bachelors' degree in Computer Science and Commerce from the University of Toronto.
