Malaysia is among the first countries to receive Huawei's highest technical certification - the Huawei Certified Internetwork Expert or HCIE, said the Chinese ICT solutions giant.
During the launch of Huawei's new enterprise networking certification in Kuala Lumpur, Huawei Malaysia's chief executive officer Abraham Liu said previously this advanced level of HCIE, the expert-level HCIE-Routing & Switching (HCIE-R&S) certification required travel and training abroad in China, Netherlands and Dubai.

"The need for its professionals to acquire the skills needed to make the most of opportunities, on their home-ground and abroad, has never been higher," he said. Accessibility of trainings such as HCIE benefits both individual professionals and corporations because it helps strengthen the skills of a workforce that is set to lead the new era of hyper-connected economy. At Huawei, we take our role of cultivating these young leaders very seriously. Skill development is a central to our strategy and community initiatives in the markets we operate in."
Huawei Authorised Learning Partner (HALP) in Malaysia, Infosyte, which passed rigorous qualifying tests, has just completed the first session of HCIE training in the country, said Liu.
"Local partners are key to reaching the vast pool of highly skilled Malaysian professionals. I congratulate and thank Infosyte for their collaboration," he said.
