Global consulting and IT services provider Mahindra Satyam has announced new leadership for Australia, New Zealand (ANZ) and Middle East and North Africa markets.
The newly formed Leadership Team comprises Bobby Gupta who will lead Australia, New Zealand and G B Kumar responsible for leading Middle Eastern and North Africa markets.
Both the industry veterans have a proven track record in business expansion, large deal pursuit and strategic collaboration.
Mahindra Satyam leverages industry and functional expertise, technology practices and a global delivery model to help businesses improve their processes and performance.
The company believes in a leadership development framework to encourage distributed leadership and has appointed these two IT Industry professionals, to boost growth in these two regions.
"Both ANZ and Middle East & Africa [MEA] markets are high-growth opportunities for Mahindra Satyam, after we complete our merger with Tech Mahindra," said Rohit Gandhi, senior vice president (Asia-Pac, India & MEA), Mahindra Satyam.
Growth with new leadership change
Mahindra Satyam expects rapid growth with the new leadership change. It is currently earning 24 percent of its revenues from the Rest of the World market, which comprises Australia, New Zealand, Middle East & other geographies in Asia & Africa.
Bobby Gupta joined Mahindra Satyam from IBM in 2009 and is now taking over as head of ANZ operations after transforming the MENA operations. His tenure in MENA resulted in many new logo wins, new contracts and expansion into new geographical territories.
Gupta will now expand business for Mahindra Satyam at ANZ.
Kumar will lead the Middle East and North Africa markets for Mahindra Satyam. Boasting an experience of more than 20 years in IT industry, Kumar will now work towards growing the company's revenues.
