Julian Quinn is Veeam Software’s new Asia-Pacific vice president

New VP will oversee vendor’s sales growth and regional expansion

Julian Quinn is Veeam Software's new vice president for Asia and the Pacific.

A press statement by the Baar, Switzerland-based vendor of backup, disaster recovery and virtualization management software said Quinn will be responsible for driving Veeam's sales growth and regional expansion.

In this capacity, he will report to Daniel Fried, Veeam's senior vice president, worldwide sales and field marketing.


Quinn's specific tasks will include consolidating Veeam's presence in Greater China and Hong Kong, growing further the vendor's presence in Thailand and Malaysia and enhancing the Singapore team to meet increasing demand for the Always-On Business, the vendor's term for today's computing environment where users demand ubiquitous access to data and applications.

The press statement said Quinn's previous experiences as manager included stints with Adobe, Borland Asia Pacific, BEA South Asia, Netscape Australasia, Novell and Unisys.
