Singapore start-up launches the region’s first video recruitment solution

Singapore start-up Quantine has launched, a tool which it says it could be the next generation of online recruitment solutions.

According to a statement by the company, is a recruitment platform that provides the recruitment industry a new one-stop talent acquisition process by combining the virtual recruitment assessments and recruitment management systems.

Quantine said that it is the first company in the region to offer a complete package of pre-recorded video interviewing techniques with candidate testing capabilities.

Quantine was set up in 2009 by Kenneth Yap, 31, and Daryl Low, 29, when they saw a market niche using technology to address global and mass recruitment issues. In its short lifetime, Quantine has been recognised for its innovation for the use of technology by Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) and was awarded as finalists for the prestigious SiTF Awards in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

In August 2011, Quantine launched the online recruitment solution. Since then, the company has facilitated HR professionals with the assessment and screening of over 3,000 candidates from Singapore, Philippines, India, Brazil, Mexico and London.

"Our aim is to assist the industry and individuals to overcome the common roadblocks encountered by everyone at different stages of getting a job, or an employee - a time consuming process. This platform provides a refined filtration process of exposition, selection and systematic record keeping of job candidate information, making the process efficient and saving companies lots of money," said Yap, managing director.

This platform is compatible with any Internet browser, it does not have to be downloaded separately.
