Intel Security has recently named Gavin Struthers as President, Asia Pacific for Intel Security.

In this new role, Struthers will be responsible for driving business operations and the next phase of growth for Intel Security across the region, including China, Korea, South East Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand.

A veteran in the technology sector, Struthers has worked with Intel Security, formerly McAfee, for more than 12 years holding various leadership roles. He most recently served as the senior vice president of worldwide channel operations.

Based in Singapore, Struthers said that the APAC region is rife with opportunity. "We are sending a strong signal to the market that our focus is really on supporting all markets in Asia Pacific; and we believe in strong growth coming not only from large economies like China and Japan, but also from South East Asia especially," he added.
