Intel Security appoints Craig Nielson to lead its business in SEA

Now based in Singapore, Nielsen will report directly to Gavin Struthers, Asia Pacific President at Intel Security.

Intel Security announced today the appointment of Craig Nielsen as its Managing Director for South East Asia (SEA).

In this new role, Nielsen is responsible for spearheading the growth of the company's business in markets across SEA, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam. Besides driving revenue for the company, Nielsen will also work on strengthening the customer and partner relationships in the region.

According to a media statement by the company, Nielsen was most recently the Senior Director for Channels and Alliances APAC, where he managed the Channels, Commercial and SMB segments. He also led the specialist sales team responsible for emerging and strategic technologies across the APAC region.

With more than 19 years of sales and leadership experience in the IT industry, this veteran has also served various senior management roles in companies such as Red Hat and Microsoft.

Now based in Singapore, Nielsen will report directly to Gavin Struthers, Asia Pacific President at Intel Security.

"Craig has a proven track record in leading enterprise sales and partner teams and delivering strong business results," said Struthers. "We are confident that his expertise and leadership skills will positively reinforce our commitment to transforming the security market in South East Asia."
