ICONZ-Webvisions appoints new Group CEO

Albert Wong will formally be starting his new role on April 21

Cloud and managed hosting provider ICONZ-Webvisions (iWV) today named Albert Wong as the new Group CEO of the company, following the resignation of former Group CEO, Poh Mui Hoon.

According to iWV’s media statement, Wong’s appointment highlights the group’s strategic vision to grow its managed and shared hosting services.

Wong was formerly the Advisor to the Board of iWV. Prior to that, he has also worked with Motorola for over 17 years as the Asia Pacific General Manager of Motorola Enterprise Mobility.

Wong will formally be starting his new role on April 21.

Commenting on his new appointment, he said: “I am very excited to lead iWV to greater heights from its existing strength in shared and managed hosting. Cloud technology is gaining momentum both in service offering and market acceptance. We are ready with the infrastructure and solutions to serve this market across key countries in Asia. The timing is perfect for ICONZ-Webvisions to re-assert our leadership in this arena.”
