Social relationship platform Hootsuite has moved its Singapore office to a bigger space at The Working Capitol in Chinatown to support its business growth in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Hootsuite currently has more than 2 million users in the region, and over 800 employees worldwide, of which 35 are based in Singapore.
The new office will "support the growth and expansion of the team across the region," said Simon Trilsbach, Hootsuite's APAC Vice President. It will do so by providing more capacity for increased customer support, sales and services, and leadership functions across the organisation.
To further aid Hootsuite's growth plans, the company has made new key appointments, including the appointment of Tim Synan as its Sales Director of APAC.
Synan brings over 18 years of experience in leading sales and business development, and has served a wide range of industries with leading companies such as Accenture, Amazon.com and EMC Corporation. He will be responsible for the company's business growth strategy across the region, and reports directly to Simon Trilsbach, Hootsuite's APAC Vice President.
Other additional hires include Philippa Cail, Sales Director of Australia; Phoebe Tran, Account Executive; Jeana Kim, Marketing Manager; Upali Dasgupta, Product Marketing Manager; and Gillian Hamilton Rogers, Community Manager of APAC, Hootsuite.
