Singapore's Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam has appointed Gerard Ee, president of Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), as a member to the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC) board.
His term with SAC is effective from 20 June 2014 to 31 March 2015, according to SAC's media statement on 24 June 2014.
Ee was a public accountant from 1978 until his retirement as a partner at Ernst & Young in June 2005. Currently, Ee is also the Chairman of the Eastern Health Alliance and Changi General hospital, as well as the Chancellor and Chairman of SIM University.
