George Slessman joins SAP APJ advisory board

As a member, he will provide guidance around key issues such as sustainable growth and market development, industries and solutions, governments and regulators, new business models and opportunities.

Data services provider IO has announced the joining of George Slessman as a member of SAP Asia Pacific Japan (SAP) advisory board.

The SAP APJ advisory board consists of business leaders from various industries, including financial services, public sector, consumer, oil and gas, media and telecommunications. Its members provide guidance around key issues such as sustainable growth and market development, industries and solutions, governments and regulators, new business models and opportunities.

According to a media statement, Slessman is a chief executive officer of IO and has been a technology visionary and leader for nearly 20 years. In addition to SAP APJ, he also sits on the board of directors for Nourish Technology, cSuite, IO and BASELAYER.

"We are happy to have Slessman join our newly developed APJ advisory board," said Colin Sampson, senior vice president and ambassador for SAP Asia Pacific Japan. "He brings expertise in disruption, insights into next-generation global IT, and a strong commitment to the APJ market."
