Emerson Network Power has made a number of key appointments with the aim of strengthening its Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) business in Asia.
Wesley Lim is now the director of the DCIM business in Asia. Based out of Singapore, he will be heading the full spectrum of DCIM business including sales development, pre-sales support and professional services across the Asia market units. He will continue reporting to Gene Hayden, vice president and general manager for sales and marketing at Emerson Network Power Asia Pacific.
Kenny Khow, on the other hand, is now the director of the newly-created DCIM professional services team in Asia. Reporting to Lim, Khow is responsible for building the professional services organisation. This includes process mapping and development, resource management, and the development of tools to ensure the success of DCIM professional services business. Specifically, he will be responsible for business development, portfolio development, delivery and project escalation management to meet customer expectations.
According to Hayden, this is an "opportune time to strengthen the DCIM team" as the company's recent survey revealed that DCIM will play a prominent role in the industry by 2025.
