Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson, has recently named Hakan Erdamar as its new president of Asia and Middle East.
In this new role, Erdamar will supervise all operational affairs for Emerson Climate Technologies, including sales, marketing, engineering research & development (R&D), production, quality management and financial operations for his assigned markets, the company said in a statement.
"My first priority is to enhance communications with our Asian and Middle East region's customers, as well as with our employees, to explore how we can further promote technology innovation and improve service levels to gain a higher level of growth," said Erdamar.
Erdamar first joined the company in 1989 as a project engineer for Power & Water Solutions in Pittsburgh, U.S. Over the years, he held a series of positions within Emerson Process Management in Asia, U.S. and Europe. A 15-year veteran of the Asia market, he most recently served as the Vice President, Asia Pacific of Flow.
