He was most recently the APJ Senior Vice President for payment systems provider ACI Worldwide.

Paul Henaghan has been appointed the President of EMC South East Asia (SEA).

Based in Singapore, Henaghan will be responsible for the company's sales, strategy and business development across the region.

He succeeds Tom Zack, who retired in early June this year, and will report to David Webster, EMC President of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).

With more than 15 years of experience in the software industry, Henaghan has held various senior sales and business leadership roles. Prior to joining EMC, Henaghan was the Senior Vice President for APJ at ACI Worldwide, where he oversaw the payment systems provider's operations across the region.

Commenting on the appointment, Webster said, "Paul brings strong leadership and management experience to EMC with a fierce commitment towards sales growth and people enablement that is essential as we accelerate our transformation journey. In addition, Paul's extensive and rich experience in the software industry, where he partnered with customers to deliver unique business outcomes, will be vital to our business strategy in the region."
