Hardware manufacturer Dell announced on Monday (16 July) that its marketing veteran Chue Chee Wei has been given the charge to lead the direct and channel sales team in Singapore and Malaysia.
Chue will be driving growth across the company's solutions portfolio in these markets, said the company in a statement.
He is based at the company's regional headquarters in Singapore and will report to Ng Tian Beng.
"The dynamic and vibrant markets in Singapore and Malaysia present a multitude of opportunities and strong demand for innovative IT solutions," said Ng Tian Beng, Dell's vice president and managing director for South Asia and Korea. "Chee Wei's experience and deep customer insight in South Asia and Korea is a strong asset, and his integrated marketing background will help us continue to drive results in the region. We are extremely pleased to have him lead the team to achieve further growth in these key markets."
Chue has been in IT industry for the last 20 years. Since joining Dell in 1997, he has contributed in various local and regional sales and marketing roles. He was most recently the executive director for marketing in Dell South Asia and Korea, and before that, led the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) sales team responsible for Dell's global 500 (G500) customers.
