David Siah to lead Trend Micro’s Singapore operations

Tasked with growing the company’s market leadership in cloud security in the country

Trend Micro has appointed David Siah as country manager of Singapore, the cloud security provider announced last week (18 September).

David has more than 17 years of experience in the IT industry and Trend Micro hopes he will push the business to higher growth in Singapore in the cloud security area.

"We are pleased to have him lead the team in Singapore, to unlock the immense potential of the market especially in the era of cloud security," said Goh Chee Hoh, managing director, SEA Region, Trend Micro.

Goh said that Siah will play an instrumental role in furthering the company's market leadership and empowering more organisations making the journey to the cloud securely.

Siah joins Trend Micro from Orion Health, an IT solutions provider in the healthcare sector, where he set up the Singapore regional office and grew it from a one-man operation to a team of 16 staff. Prior to Orion Health, he was with CrimsonLogic.
