Saw Ken Wye has recently joined CrimsonLogic — a provider of eGovernment solutions and services in Singapore — as the company's new CEO.
In his appointment, Saw will manage CrimsonLogic's business growth in emerging and developed markets. He will also be responsible for growing customer relationships in the company's three core business areas: trade facilitation, eJudiciary, and eGovernment and eCitizen.
Prior to joining CrimsonLogic, Saw was Microsoft's vice-president for Public Sector (Asia). There, he was responsible for helping governments embrace and use technology to improve business efficiencies so as to develop local industries and improve overall national competitiveness.
Saw started his IT career with the National Computer Board (NCB) in 1983 and his last appointment there was Assistant Chief Executive (Industry). In NCB, Saw played a part in the development of national IT projects including IT2000 and Singapore ONE.
