BT Global Services appoints new MD for SEA

Ron Totton will drive BT’s operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.

UK telecommununications company BT Global Services has named Ron Totton as its new managing director for South East Asia.

As the MD for SEA, Totton will be driving BT’s operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.

Totton has been working with BT since 2010, and was most recently the vice president for the Global Logistics industry sector. Prior to joining BT, Totton has held leadership positions at Descartes Systems Group, i2 Technologies (now Red Prairie), as well as DHL.

 “He brings a wealth of global experience and a distinguished track record in technology consulting, business development, operations, strategy and finance spanning nearly two decades,” said Kevin Taylor, President, Asia, Middle East and Africa of BT.

“As BT continues to grow in the region, an experienced and capable leader such as Ron will be a significant asset in driving our growth in SE Asia. Under his leadership, we’ll see BT continue to build strong relationships with existing customers and expand its customer base,” he added.
