Networking solutions provider Brocade is set to scale up its certification programmes in China and deliver training classes in Mandarin.
The company has signed an agreement with independent IT training company Global Knowledge to this end.
Both partners will team up on delivering training and certification programmes across Asia Pacific (APAC) and Japan. Delivery of these programmes will be done through the training and certification arm of Brocade- the Brocade University.
"As our newest Authorized Training Partner, Global Knowledge will play an active role in delivering in-depth knowledge of Brocade products and technology to help address critical business challenges faced by our customers today," said Charlie Foo, Brocade vice president for APAC.
Brocade is also giving the option to its customers to opt for onsite classes for SAN, IP and Ethernet Fabric courses that are customised according to their specific requirements.
The company expects its partnership with Global Knowledge will benefit both its customers and partners as the comprehensive training and certification programmes cover a wide range of subjects including networking, cloud and data centre.
"The collaboration validates our longstanding commitment to our regional customers and partners through providing the best support to help optimise their technology investments," added Foo.
Global Knowledge is providing several Brocade authourised training courses and programmes including ADX Advanced Techniques in Server Load Balancing Certified Layer 4 - 7 Professional; Brocade Certified Ethernet Fabric Engineer (BCEFE) Training.
Other courses offered are Brocade Certified Fabric Professional (BCFP) 16 Gbps Training; Introduction to ServerIron ADX Application Switching and Load Balancing; and Brocade Certified Network Engineer.
