With Apple's iPhone 5S unveiling all but set for September 10th, typically reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has issued a new research note wherein he anticipates Apple this fall will expand the color options for its revolutionary smartphone.
While it's widely anticipated that the lower cost iPhone 5C will come in a variety of colors, this is the first solid rumor we've heard of Apple spicing up the color offerings for their flagship iPhone.
Specifically, Kuo writes that Apple will introduce a gold cased iPhone 5S this fall, alongside its usual offerings of black and white models.
We also forecast the new model will add a new look, a golden casing, and a new option for larger 128GB storage, to offer greater differentiation from iPhone 5.
Also interesting is that Apple may up the storage on the iPhone to 128 GB. Previously, the largest capacity iPhones checked in with 64 GB of storage.
Other rumors have suggested that the iPhone 5S will feature a 12 megapixel camera, a fingerprint authorization sensor located underneath a sapphire glass home button, and a new A7 processor.
