Facebook is notorious for providing awful mobile experiences, and it's reaching a point where there's really no excuse.

That's the kind of garbage you'd expect from an amateur app developer -- and a bad one at that.

So come on, Facebook: Wake up already. Android hasn't been the feisty young newcomer to the mobile market in years. These days, it's by far the dominant smartphone platform in the U.S. and the world. And more and more users are relying on mobile for the majority of their social activity. It's time to start taking this seriously.

As a major company with a massive user base, you should be setting the standard for standout app design. Right now, all you're doing is letting down your users -- and embarrassing yourself.
