It's time to look at addressing the challenges around multi-cloud not just to cope with growing business needs, but also to maximise potential and drive various areas of business impact. A key consideration in developing a multi-cloud approach is to appraise the value of internal versus external systems and protocols.

Consider what multi-platform expertise, ongoing support and automated maintenance capabilities your team has. What are the key areas in which your enterprise should focus on in order to excel? As cloud planners move forward, they must be able to guide the organisations to avoid skill gaps that could potentially become weaknesses or liabilities. Consider whether internal expertise is sufficient, or if the enterprise might benefit from outside support options that help maintain control and maximise measurable business impact.
