NEC STEE Cloud Services (NSCS), a joint venture company between NEC Asia Pacific and ST Electronics, has built a data centre for cloud services in Singapore.
 
NSCS said this is part of its plan to “kickstart its cloud business in the Asia Pacific region.”

The data centre features base systems for providing services that are built from system models - utilising a combination of specialised hardware products, operating systems and middleware, NSCS said in a media statement.

David Ng, chief executive of NSCS said: "By leveraging the combined strengths of NEC and ST Electronics, NSCS provides a range of comprehensive end-to-end solutions including applications, support services and infrastructure. These strengths enable us to offer end-to-end services where customers can benefit from the latest cloud technologies and solutions provided by the two technology powerhouses.”
