HCL’s Asia-Pacific head Virender Aggarwal resigns: report
HCL's Asia-Pacific head Virender Aggarwal is leaving the IT services company at the end of this month, according to an official source.
Based in Singapore, Aggarwal will leave the company for personal reasons.
He has been with HCL for about three years. He was in a similar role with Indian outsourcer Satyam Computer Services but jumped ship and joined HCL when an accounting fraud hit the Hyderabad-headquartered company in early 2009.
In addition to Asia-Pacific, Aggarwal also looked after the company's business for the Middle East and Africa markets.
“Virender Aggarwal, President for HCL Technologies, Region Head - Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East & Africa (AA NZ MEA) has decided to pursue his personal aspirations and will be leaving the company at the end of April 2012," said an HCL spokesperson. "Mr. Pradeep Bindal, President, India Business - HCL Technologies will take over the reins from Mr. Aggarwal.”
